Fort Lauderdale, Florida
In case anyone checks this
early on Sunday – we arrived in St. Petersburg
at 10:20pm on Saturday evening. Staying
the night at a motel then we’ll drive
to Ft.
Lauderdale
in the morning. Earliest
arrival time at the dock is 2pm, we’ll
be there! It’s
a little cool and breezy
tonight, 58 degrees. Hoping
for warmer
air tomorrow when the sun rises! The
only picture taken so far was during our night flight out. The moon was bright and
reflecting on the
wing of the plane. Looked
cool so I took
a picture, so that’s it for now!
Now our first day is over.
We left our hotel in St. Petersburg in rain and 58 degree
weather. It was still raining when we arrived in Ft.
Lauderdale (which you may have noticed if you watched the Super Bowl.)
The temperature finally reached 70 when we were boarding the
boat. You will see pictures of the ship as we were getting
on. After having to put on our very attractive orange life
vests and listening to emergency information in the Coral Theater, we
walked around the ship and got our bags unpacked and our room all nice
and cozy. You will see pictures of the room, a picture
viewing the center atrium looking from the 11th deck and me on the
outside deck (it finally stopped raining!) After a late night
swim we have retired to the room to post these pictures and log of the
day. We're hoping for sunny warmer weather tomorrow - I'm sure you are
too!
